In a deal described as ‘record-breaking,’ Greek shipping firm Atlas Maritime and Denmark’s European Maritime Finance (EMF) have successfully offloaded two co-owned suezmax tanker newbuildings. The companies confirmed the sale of the 157,000-dwt vessels, named North Star and Viking Star, to fellow Greek entity Okeanis Eco Tankers for an impressive $97 million each.
